About the event
Morgan Explores is a new group driving tour in partnership with the Morgan Motor Company. The inaugural Morgan Explores driving adventure, ‘Pyrenees Pursuit’, celebrates Morgan’s 115th year, piecing together stunning roads with beautiful backdrops throughout Northern Spain and the South of France.
Morgan Explores will start on Tuesday 24th September in Northern Spain – ideal for any of our British participants with excellent ferry links from the UK and being fully accessible from mainland Europe. The bespoke route will guide you and your Morgan through a variety of landscapes.
Take your pick of a rally-style tulip roadbook, a good old-fashioned map, or a modern digital route to guide your Pyrenees pursuit. You couldn’t ask for better company for your journey, surrounded by fellow Morgan enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Days 6 - 8
A quick ferry across from the vibrant city of Wellington to Picton, before making our way through New Zealand's wine district - Marlborough. Meander through a sea of vineyards (naturally we'll need to stop for a tasting or two).
Day 12 - 14
As if a drive through Haast Pass isn't enough of a treat, your car will adore Crown Range Road - the highest road in New Zealand with truly unmatched views. All this before reaching the adventure capital of New Zealand - Queenstown.
Days 9 - 11
The adventure continues in the scenic alpine town of Hammer Springs before heading towards the West Coast where the gold mine town of Hokitika awaits. Hokitika Gorge is sure to impress before heading to Fox Glacier. You'll never have taken so many photos!
Days 3 - 5
Heading South through Rotorua - known for its awe-inspiring geothermal wonders and fascinating Maori culture. Journey through Taupo, taking in Huka Falls and Craters of The Moon.
Days 1 - 2
The adventure begins in Auckland, of course! Too many attractions to list. The beginning of some of the most spectacular scenic driving your car could hope for! We'll start by heading towards the Bay of Islands. The Itineris team will be with you every step of the way, and you'll be in the perfect company among fellow car and travel enthusiasts.

WHAT DOES THE ENTRY FEE INCLUDE?
Event Entry
One vehicle with a crew of two people. Either bring your own or add vehicle-hire or transport to your entry.
Adventure
Full days of adventure, leisure, cultural exploration, and camaraderie, memories to last a lifetime.
Accommodation
The overnight accommodations are chosen for their characterful and comfortable luxury, with plenty of time to enjoy top-notch hospitality and relax each day.
Group Tour
A relaxed and fun group event with other enthusiasts. You couldn't be in better company.
Detailed Itinerary
A pre-planned itinerary with site visits, points of interest, and other optional activities along the route.
Mechanical Support
Things go wrong and bits fall off, it's all part of the adventure. Our mechanical support crew will be on hand to help should you need it.
Media Crew
The media crew will follow along to ensure you leave with plenty of photographs and a highlights video to accompany those lifetime memories.
Luggage Service
A dedicated luggage service will be on hand to collect and deliver your luggage between venues as needed.
Road Book
Each crew will receive a personalised road book with tulip-style navigation. Don't worry, we'll make sure you're comfortable reading your roadbook before setting off. You will be a navigational pro in no time.
Meals
Breakfast at the overnight accommodation, as well as lunch and an evening meal are included on each event day. Some refreshment stops are also included.
Digital Map
In addition to the roadbook, you will receive a downloadable digital GPX route file, just in case you find yourself (far) off track.
