Day 0 - 3
YELLOWSTONE, RANCH COUNTRY & THE AMERICAN FRONTIER.
The Great American Motoring Journey begins with a stay on a traditional Montana ranch, offering an introduction to a way of life that has shaped the American West for generations.
From here, the route follows Paradise Valley Road through cattle country and into Wyoming's Yellowstone National Park, the world's first national park and home to the largest concentration of geysers and geothermal features on Earth. Wildlife sightings should be expected as we explore the park before continuing to Cody, a town built on the legacy of Buffalo Bill and the traditions of the American frontier.
Day 4 - 6
AMERICA'S GREATEST MOUNTAIN ROADS.
Beartooth Highway takes us deep into the Rocky Mountains, with remote high-altitude passes and engineering feats carved through challenging terrain, this section showcases the scale and ambition of America's mountain road network.
We journey along Independence Pass, Trail Ridge Road, and the Million Dollar Highway, each offering a distinctly different driving experience. The culmination is the ascent of Pikes Peak - one of motorsport's most famous hill climbs to over 14,000 feet above sea level. For more than a century, competitors have tested themselves against this mountain, making it one of the most significant roads in automotive history.
Day 7 - 9
MONUMENT VALLEY, NAVAJO COUNTRY & THE GRAND CANYON.
Leaving the Rocky Mountains behind, the route enters the vast landscapes of the American Southwest and Navajo Nation. Monument Valley is one of the most recognisable locations in the United States, its distinctive sandstone formations having appeared in countless films, television programmes, and photographs for more than a century. Few places are more closely associated with the image of the American West. Here a special sunset tour awaits.
From Monument Valley, the journey continues through the Valley of the Gods before joining historic sections of Route 66 en route to the Grand Canyon. Guests explore the canyon via the Desert View Drive, which follows the South Rim and provides access to some of the park's most significant viewpoints. Together, these destinations showcase the geography, history, and cultural identity that define the American Southwest.
Day 10 - 13
ROUTE 66, LAS VEGAS & DEATH VALLEY.
The route follows some of the best-preserved sections of historic Route 66, passing through towns such as Seligman, Hackberry, Kingman, and Oatman. These communities remain closely tied to America's motoring heritage, preserving many of the diners, gas stations, and roadside landmarks that defined cross-country travel during the twentieth century.
Following a tour of the Hoover Dam, guests spend the evening at their own pace amid the vibrant energy and excitement of Las Vegas.
Next, we venture into Death Valley National Park, exploring Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America, alongside the colourful mineral formations of Artist's Palette and the viewpoints of Zabriskie Point. Together, these destinations highlight the remarkable diversity of the American West, from roadside Americana to some of the continent's most extreme environments.
Day 14 - 15
CALIFORNIA'S PACIFIC COAST & NAPA VALLEY.
The final chapter leads us into California where we join Highway 1, following the Pacific coastline through Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Big Sur. Along the way, guests cross Bixby Bridge, one of the most recognisable structures on the Californian coast, and experience a road that has become a fixture on many lists of the world's greatest drives.
We visit Laguna Seca Raceway, home to the famous Corkscrew and generations of American motorsport history. The route then continues north to San Francisco. Final night celebrations await in Napa Valley, one of the world's most renowned wine-producing regions. It provides a fitting conclusion to a journey that has crossed ranching country, mountain passes, deserts, national parks, and the Pacific coast.

Each crew will receive a personalised road book with tulip-style navigation. Don't worry, we'll make sure you're comfortable reading your roadbook before setting off. You will be a navigational pro in no time.
Meals
Breakfast at the overnight accommodation, as well as lunch and an evening meal are included on each tour day. Some refreshment stops are also included.
